Yes, each of our self employed handyman carry their own insurance and each have completed a DBS check

Some jobs require a specialist with specialist tools, so if we feel we are not the right team for you, then we will tell you and try to point you in the right direction.
No I'm afraid not, we don't work at anything above 8ft
No! We do not undertake building work or major projects. However, we do know some reputable local builders
You can fill out the form on our website, call, email or contact us on Facebook. One of the Odd Job Heroes team will forward your details onto the right handyman for your area.
Once it's been handed over to the handyman, they will call you to arrange a convenient time to pop over and view the job
If you call and we don't answer, please leave a message and we'll call you right back
Most of our handymen will call you back on the same day. If you don't hear from anyone, please let the office know and we will chase on your behalf
Yes, always! We will never start work without you being aware of our quote. We will visit the property before so that we can quote
Please note, in certain circumstances the nature of the job might change, which means the handyman might need to spend more time on site, in which case the quote may change. We will always discuss this with you
No, never! If you decide not to continue with the job that's absolutely fine!
The quote will mostly be made up of our labour and materials. In certain cases where the handyman has to travel some distance to visit the job, there may be a small fuel charge as well.
Most materials will be paid for in advance by the handyman and these will be added to the invoice.
In certain cases yes, we will charge for shopping for materials. Of course, you're free to purchase your own materials.
The invoice will be issued once the job is complete and our payment timelines are 7 days.
If you are not happy with the job, our handyman will pop back
